zorbing experience
zorbing is a pastime unlike anything you have ever tried before. It is the most fun you will ever have getting down a hill. You will find yourself inside a giant inflatable ball as you hurtle down a purpose-built run at speeds of over 20mph. It will be a fantastic adrenaline fuelled ride that will leave you buzzing.
There are two ways to ride the zorb, both are fun filled and exciting, choose from Harness Zorbing or Hydro Zorbing. Harness Zorbing is the more conventional way to experience rolling in a soft PVC padded ball. You and your friend will be strapped in and tumble head over heels as you make your way down the hill. Or, if you’re looking for something a bit more daring, try Hydro Zorbing. This time no harness is needed and you will be chucked in with 40 litres of water before the ball starts to rotate. It will be a wild water ride and one of the craziest activities you’ll ever take part in.
Although zorbing always takes place on land, there are two types of zorbing rides: dry and wet. In areas where there are no natural hills or contours for the zorb to maneuver, the operator builds a metal track. On a dry ride, the rider is strapped into the zorb against one wall. The operator releases the zorb, and the rider rolls, head over heels, downhill. In hydro-zorbing, the passenger isn’t strapped to the zorb wall. The operator adds about five gallons of warm or cold water — depending on the weather — to the inside of the zorb, then sends the passenger on a wild ride. The passenger slips and sloshes around the inside of the ball as it rolls.
